Gaza Mutual Aid Solidarity
“We are an ad-hoc group of volunteers who have loved ones in Gaza. Our goal is to give direct mutual aid to help displaced & distressed families meet their basic needs during these catastrophic times. We also aim to cultivate and strengthen relations with each other and build community with those in solidarity with our struggle for liberation.”
Dismantle Damon: Free the ReSisters
“Currently in Damon, which has historically been used as a central prison for Palestinian women and girls, there are 88 prisoners, including Khalida Jarrar, Hadeel Shatara, Hanan Barghouti and Layan Kayed to name a few. The prisoners are from all sectors of society, they are teachers, students, journalists, mothers, community leaders, lawyers, healthcare workers and so on. Our demands are simple: we call for the destruction of Damon prison, we call for the freedom of all the Palestinian women prisoners held there. While in this campaign we focus on Damon prison and its detainees, we also call for every colonial prison to be destroyed and for every Palestinian prisoner to be free.”
Healing and resistance practices from Shereen LMFT
“These exercises were facilitated by Shereen Khan-Amrikani, LMFT, as part of a Healing & Resistance Circles support group in April-June 2024 for Arab/SWANA, Muslim, and antizionist healthcare workers or organizers, in response to the genocide in Palestine.”
